About

I’m Yannick Loth, a software architect and independent researcher.
I hold degrees in Industrial Engineering (Information Systems) from the University of Luxembourg and in Management Sciences (General Management) from HEC Liège, with prior training in civil engineering at the University of Liège.
I have nearly two decades of professional experience in EU institutions, financial services and insurance, and public administration. Software architecture was the role I held longest. Since 2025, I have worked as an independent researcher. I hold the iSAQB CPSA-F certification in software architecture.
I apply computational thinking and discrete mathematics to the architecture of software and organizations, and I explore their design from first principles.
