- Only 18.3% employed vs 83.8% general population
- 64.7% on Supported Living Payment (vs 49% other benefit recipients)
- Higher ED visits and medication use but lower disability support service use
- Disproportionately female and European; Māori, Pacific, Asian underrepresented

Conclusion:: ME/CFS patients face severe economic vulnerability and limited access to supports. Systemic policy exclusions disadvantage chronic fluctuating conditions. Limitations:: Only those on benefit included; may not represent milder cases; cross-sectional; NZ-specific. Certainty:: 0.75
